friends, odette new york just released her new collection, torne valley, and it is oh so very good. for the last three years i have been wearing the same necklace almost daily from odette's athene divinus collection. the very fact that a necklace that looks so delicate has withstood the test of two children pulling and chewing on it speaks to the quality of her work. i am not much of a jewelry wearer, save for my another feather rings and a few necklaces but i've been looking for another everyday necklace and i'm thinking it may be in this bunch. ahem, and i think i have a birthday coming up...(hint hint, wink)

i have been obsessed lately with cool, easy clothes. for weeks i've had a browser window open to elizabeth suzanne's online shop swooning over her designs and their effortless style. slouchy yet feminine and timeless her designs are topping my list of spring must haves. i've told myself that one of her pieces will be mine for the shop's opening, now if only i could decide which one.

take a look at her spring lookbook. i'm thinking the georgia tee in flax or the georgia midi in navy. and that jumpsuit! and can we talk about that models hair.

when stijn and i first moved in together we married our ikea kitchenware collections leaving us with a large mismatched mix of functional dinnerware. as soon as we began planning for our kitchen renovation i knew that i wanted to decrease our plate, bowl, and mug collection into something more streamlined and long lasting. and as soon as the plans for our kitchen involved floating shelves i knew that it was time to get serious about the ceramic cups that would be gracing them. as it turns out i am nothing if not consistent. most of the cups i have collected on pinterest look strikingly similar to one another, they are all simple and in natural colorways. i have narrowed it down to these four beauties. i'm thinking a mix of two different styles: one mostly white/nuetral/grey, and the other with a bit of color. i think they will all go nicely with our vintage heath ceramic salt and pepper shakers, also crying out for exposed shelf space.
