i guess it's about time we show off this bump!

we just returned from a week long trip to cincinnati a week that was filled with baby, family, and ethnic food. while we were there my dear friend emily gave birth to her first son, we took advantage of grandparents and went out for dinner and even to hear music (I almost felt young again), and we ate and ate and ate. living in switzerland for almost two years followed by moving to holland, michigan has meant that there has been a serious lack of ethnic food in my life. trips to bigger cities are always marked by which countries our bellies tour. and since this go around, this pregnant mama wants spice I packed as much into one week as I could: indian, vietnamese x2, mexican, sichuan, and korean. I won't say I overdid it but I was definitely satisfied! it was a great start to the last week of the first half of my pregnancy (did you get that?). almost halfway folks and holding that newborn bub this week not only made it more real but 10x more exciting!
